All-Russia conference on NGOs supporting families in social services
26.01.2018
This conference to support NGOs caring for families and children will take place on 27 and 28 February in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Debate at the conference will focus on several current issues. They include the ways in which NGOs can access government funds to provide welfare services and improve the quality of their services, the criteria for measuring the efficacy of their services, the methods used to compare services delivered by organisations in the government and non-government sector, and the professional training of staff and volunteers.
The programme will include debates on broad topics and more specific issues, the exchange of creative ideas, discussion forums, presentations and opportunities to share experiences.
Delegates will include NGOs in social care that already provide or intend to provide services to protect families, mothers, fathers and children; resource centres for NGOs; federal and local government authorities; and other support organisations.
Travel expenses to and from Moscow will be covered for one person per organisation attending the conference. Priority will be given to those working under the University NGO programme and members of the resource centres and NGO support centres. Accommodation expenses in Moscow cannot be refunded.
