Bids invited from Russian businesses in “Champion of Good Deeds” competition, deadline 9 October

Applications to the contest “Champions of Good Deeds” are welcome

The Champions of Good Deeds is a national competition of projects implemented by corporations on a pro-bono or volunteer basis.

The competition is run by the Directors’ Association and the National Board for Corporate Pro-bono Activities, seeking to identify best practice and the most successful models for corporate volunteering.

Employees of corporate companies operating in the Russian Federation are invited to participate.

Categories for nomination:

  • Traditional volunteering
  • Skills-based volunteering
  • Competency based volunteering
  • Contribution to the development of corporate volunteering
  • Complex projects

For 2020 the competition’s organisers have decided to introduce a new category, “Hero of the Business World”. The winner will be whichever company marks the largest number of completed projects in 2019-2020 on the competition’s interactive map Good deeds by Business.

Applications for the competition involve filling out this online form and must be received by 9 October 2020.

Each company can submit a maximum of five projects. The conditions for entering the competition, criteria for evaluating projects as well as the procedure for submitting documents can be found in the competition regulations.

The results will be announced at the IX Moscow international forum of Corporate Volunteering: Business and Society, which will take place on 12 November 2020 in MIA Russia Today.
