July- 9 August. Intensive course for new entrepreneurs and originators of
projects centred on the resolution of social issues

The organiser is the
‘Business Incubator’ of the Higher School of Economics, which helps students
and alumni create and develop new successful businesses.

The course’s
participants will realise their ideas step-by-step, seek tools and effective
paths for the development of their specific business. The Summer Intensive
Course is centred on: the development of entrepreneurial skills;  elucidation of how a socially-oriented
business may cooperate with related spheres of work (state, community,
commercial structures, the mass media and similar); diversification of
necessary business connections; familiarity with the basics of law and
accounting  for socially-oriented
businesses; practical redevelopment of hypotheses, the implementation of the
project from the conceptual stage to its final launch; a detailed understanding
of potential problems likely to arise for today’s social entrepreneurship.

Those with new
business ideas, businessmen and new entrepreneurs are invited to participate.
During the course of study they will have access to: consultations with experts
(in a group and one-to-one); the working space and resources of the ‘Business
Incubator’; the database of expert contacts and organisations required both for
the launch of projects and the initial planning phase.
