Dobro Mail.ru welcomes regional charities as partners

Dobro Mail.Ru online charitable venue welcomes regional charities for cooperation

02.10.2017

Since 1 October, Dobro Mail.Ru has been accepting submissions from charities looking to cooperate with it.

Partner charities may collect donations without commission on the Dobro Mail.Ru website and advertise for volunteers. They also receive benefits when collaborating with businesses and can participate in educational conferences.

Charitable ventures are flagged on the website only after they have been examined by experts from Dobro Mail.Ru. The applying NGO is vetted and its work undergoes security checks by the Mail.Ru Group.  The organisation is then invited to attend an interview and lawyers analyse its documentation.

«It is important for us not only to develop joint projects with leading organisations in the sector, but equally to help small, trustworthy charities from different regions in Russia,» says Aleksandra Babkina, manager of Dobro Mail.Ru. «Every one of these charities is seeking to save lives on a daily basis and trying to find the most effective way to do this. Over four years, more than 257,000 people have supported charitable projects on Dobro Mail.Ru. If we join forces with new organisations we will be able to draw even more attention to those in need, and help them more quickly.

NGOs can register until 31 October 2017.  The online venue works with experienced and professional non-commercial organisations, so applications are open only to charities set up before 1 February 2015. This project is looking to help organisations in the regions — consequently applicants should be based outside Moscow.  To become a partner, apply on the website. Over 130 charities from 32 Russian regions currently cooperate with Dobro Mail.Ru.
