The BEARR Trust is seeking a new Honorary Treasurer!

This is an opportunity for someone with a knowledge of financial processes and systems to work on a voluntary basis to support the work of the BEARR Trust in the role of Honorary Treasurer.

Experience of financial administration is more important than formal qualifications in accountancy or finance. The time commitment evens out at about three hours per week, with fluctuations throughout the year.

The BEARR Trust invites you to a talk and discussion with Dr Armen Sarkissian, former President of Armenia (2018–2022). Dr Sarkissian will present his book, The Small States Club: How Small Smart Powers Can Save the World, and share insights on the current political situation in Armenia.

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM UK Time
📍 Location: House of Lords (kindly sponsored by Lord Tyrie) and online via Zoom

This hybrid event has limited in-person capacity. To attend in person, please register your interest by 28 February. We will confirm availability one week prior to the event.

The BEARR Trust’s events are free to attend and open to all. However, we welcome donations to support our work—suggested amounts are £20 per person, £10 for students and jobseekers, or more if you are able.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the BEARR Trust Annual Conference last Friday, both online and in person.

We are grateful to our speakers and moderators for sharing their expertise, as well as to those who made donations to support the BEARR Trust’s work.

This year’s conference addressed the challenges faced by civil society organisations in Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Tajikistan during times of crisis, highlighting the innovative solutions these organisations are implementing in the fields of health and social welfare.
