Lawyers helping victims of modern slavery in Russia

Agora Human Rights lawyers have begun to help slavery victims for free

The task of the Captivity project is to achieve fair punishment for perpetrators and monetary compensation for victims.

Agora lawyers help with cases of slavery during an investigation and in court. They are already working on cases of forced labour in Tatarstan, Mordovia, and the Kemerovo region. These cases include detention in drug rehabilitation centres, imprisonment of children and forced labour on a subsidiary farm.

You can leave a request for help on Captivity’s website.

According to the information from The Prosecutor General’s Office, human trafficking is one of the most profitable types of transnational organised crime.
