NGOs concerned with the integration of immigrants and the social and cultural rehabilitation of drug addicts are to be added to the list of socially oriented NGOs. The relevant law has been signed by President Putin and is published on the legislation website. The government had already tabled in the Duma a bill adding to the list of socially oriented NGOs NGOs concerned with improving labour mobility, and the Public Chamber in Chelyabinsk oblast has proposed the establishment of the institution of Ombudsman for Socially Oriented NGOs.
