Presidential Administration gives priority to work with NGOs
The Presidential administration has identified cooperation with socially-orientated NGOs as a priority activity

As part of the optimisation of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate, additional priority has been given to the Department for Cooperation with NGOs and Civil Society Institutions.
The main objective of the Department for Cooperation with NGOs and Civil Society Institutions will be interaction with socially-orientated non-profit organisations, reports Kommersant. The department will report directly to the Head of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate Tatiana Voronova. A source within the administration has informed the publication that the department will be headed by someone with experience in the non-profit sector.
President Vladimir Putin previously requested a review of legal practices regulating the activities of NGOs, and the submission of proposals “on measures for additional legal regulation of the activities of socially-orientated NGOs and NGOs whose activities are aimed at the achievement of socially useful objectives”.
