Putin asks for report on NGOs by 30 March
Russian President Putin has asked for an analysis and report suitable for law enforcement activities on the activities of NGOs. This was reported on the Kremlin website.
The report is to be drafted by the Presidential Administration, Ministry of Justice and the Presidential Representative for Nature Conservation and Ecology.
At the end of last year the Duma adopted at second and third reading a law on measures by state authorities to support socially oriented not-for-profit organisations which provide socially useful services. The task of developing such NGOs was set by President Putin in his annual address.
