30 March 2022
Of all six segments of the job market observed in the study, CSOs have seen the largest drop in recruitment this month. Non-profit organisations have reduced recruitment by 77%. At the same time, the number of vacancies in CSOs has decreased by 3% in the past week.
There are three times fewer vacancies in education and science and two times fewer in insurance. Demand in IT has more than halved, but over the past week, this improved slightly.
The leader in vacancy growth was the mining industry with an increase of almost 20%. On the eve of the summer, they are recruiting staff for the season. There were 8% more vacancies in agriculture and construction and 4% more in the industrial sector.
Last week, the Ministry of Labour spoke about employment measures. Money was allocated from the federal budget for retraining 250,000 employees of enterprises and employment centres received the right to retrain employees who may be made redundant. The Ministry hotline works around the clock.
