The centre works under the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, Artem Metelev.

Artem Metelev explained that the centre will be helping young people who need legal support. Young people can access help through a 24/7 chatbot.

“Young people often face violations of their rights. At the same time, many do not have experience interacting with government or law enforcement agencies. The Human Rights Centre will become a one-stop shop for handling complex situations”, Metelev notes.

Partners of the centre are the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova, the Guild of Russian Lawyers, and the Kutafin Moscow State Law University.
