A
conference on the subject of urban communal initiatives is to take place in
Odessa from 7-8 September. Representatives of NGOs, civic activists, volunteers
and representatives      of socially
responsible business will be able to discuss innovative approaches to the resolution
of acute social questions and problems involved in improving the urban
environment with participants from Russia, Belarus, Holland and other European
countries.

Reports
will be presented at the conference on the following themes: building communities,
social entrepreneurship, world changing projects and urban activism. Organisers
of Social Camp Russia and the HUB Moscow group will take part in formulating
the programme.

Attendance costs from 600 roubles (150 hryvnia). This includes attendance at all
the events, report sessions, receptions, coffee breaks and lunches. The price
does not include accommodation and travel although the organisers will offer
participants accommodation in the hostel/hotel at a discounted rate (280
roubles per day).
