Russian charity workers can now find like-minded people through the dating app, For Love

The founders of the dating app have created an open community called “Philanthropists” in conjunction with the charitable foundation, Pravmir.
The aim of the collaboration is to promote a culture of philanthropy within society, as well as strengthening family values, based on the principles of care and mutual support.
The “Philanthropists” open community is a virtual space, designed for people who share similar ideas of charity, mutual assistance, and a willingness to help those in need. Users of the dating app will be able to list their affiliation with the philanthropist community on their profile, as well as highlighting their involvement with charities, CSOs, social projects, and voluntary work, using a filter to find and meet like-minded individuals.
According to the executive director of Pravmir, Tatyana Lazareva, the app’s philosophy, based on finding a partner with genuine values, is aligned to the mission of her foundation.
“Every day we see how love and care help people overcome challenges. The idea behind the For Love app, i.e. to find and connect with others based on shared values, is one that really resonates with us. Philanthropy is also all about love,” said Lazareva.
You can join the ‘’Philanthropists’’ community in the new ‘’Communities’’ section of the app. To do this, you need to:
- Download the app, or simply log in if it is already downloaded;
- Join the ‘’Community’’;
- A ‘’Community’’ icon and subscription will appear on your profile;
- Turn on the ‘’Philanthropists’’ filter in your search.
