This year, the Total Match campaign will be held as usual, scheduled to coincide with Giving Tuesday. The Blago.ru platform will double donations and experts have prepared a guide for CSOs to attract more donors. One of the useful chapters in the collection is about working with influencers.
The fundraising platform team has released a guide entitled, How CSOs can raise more money during the Total Match on Blago.ru. The guide brings together ideas from experts in various fields, from business to communities, from communications to working with streamers.
One of the guide’s sections is dedicated to attracting influencers and bloggers.
Step-by-step instructions for CSOs from experts:
- Find influencers whose values match your organisation’s mission.
- Contact them 2-3 weeks before the campaign: explain the gist of Total Match and suggest posting a short post or story with a link to your CSO’s page on Blago.ru.
- Clarify the format of interaction: emphasise that this is about social support.
- Offer ready-made materials: a banner, short text for a post or story, a QR code with a link to donate, a short video about the foundation or campaign.
- Thank and tag the influencer after publication.

- get your neighbours involved in charity work
