The award ‘for achievements in fundraising for charitable and social projects’ is intended to strengthen and develop fundraising in Russia, make it effective and ethical, and to enhance the status of the fundraising profession.

Participation provides an opportunity for organisations to receive recognition for their work and discuss best practice with partners, donors and other stakeholders.

Prizes in each category will be awarded by sponsors, including the newspaper Vedomosti, the Centre for NGO Development, the Donors’ Forum and the Association of Interactive Agencies. Participants will have the chance to win expert consultations on developing a marketing strategy, public speaking, and tickets to the Donors’ Forum conferences; White Nights of Fundraising and Charity in Russia.

Applications to participate in one or more categories should be emailed to premia@fund-raising.ru by 10 November. NGOs of various types are eligible to compete for the award.

The contest includes the following categories:

• Fundraising activity (offline) ● Fundraising campaign (online) ● Fundraising online newsletter ● Fundraising social advertising ● Start-up fundraising

The prize giving ceremony will take place on 2 December at the BlagoSfera Centre.
