Community Forum in Moscow 2-3 November

Final Community forum is open for applications

The forum, led by the Russian Public Chamber, will be held in Moscow on November 2-3, 2021.

12/10/2021

Representatives of both legislative and executive government, as well as civil activists, are invited to participate.

The final Community forum traditionally brings the annual cycle of regional events to a close. In 2021, four regional forums were held in Vladikavkaz, Tver, Saransk and Khabarovsk.

You can register on the official website of the Public Chamber.

According to the Public Chamber’s press office, participants in the forum will discuss issues concerned with supporting charity and volunteering during a pandemic, the implementation of national projects and youth policy, issues of improving the population demographic, as well as the sustainable development of small territories.

Additionally, the Chamber will present a special project Region CSO, which will offer the rating of public councils and executive entities throughout the regions by the level of development of their non-profit sector. A separate discussion platform will be devoted to the problem of helping children with rare diseases. One of the main organisers will be the Circle of Kindness foundation.

The forum will include a prize-giving to the winners of the Creating the Future competition, the award for Young Specialist of the Year, as well as the annual competition in the field of public engagement My Project for My Country.

The Public Chamber has been holding the Community Forum since 2015. It is an open working platform for civil activists, CSO representatives and citizens who are ready to engage in socially orientated work. The Forum aims to identify the best regional and federal practices of public engagement, unite like-minded people and encourage the development of civil engagement throughout the regions of Russia.
