US GlobalGiving charity designated undesirable in Russia
The GlobalGiving charitable project recognised as having undesirable status in the Russian Federation

The US GlobalGiving charity has been added to the list of undesirable organisations.
On 26 January, the Russian Ministry of Justice added the American GlobalGiving Foundation to the register of foreign and international CSOs whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation.
All GlobalGiving donations, an online resource for philanthropists founded in 2002, are made through the Global Aid Fund.
Two German organisations, Freies Russland – Berlin (Free Russia – Berlin) and Freies Russland -NRW (Free Russia- North Rhine Westphalen), have also been added to the foreign agents’ list.
