New Website Assistant at The BEARR Trust
The BEARR Trust is delighted to welcome Oksana Yurchenko as the new part-time Website Assistant responsible for the Russian and Ukrainian sides of the website.
Oksana holds a Specialist degree in Translation from Mariupol State University in Ukraine. She worked as a translator and interpreter in diplomatic institutions in Mariupol and Kyiv. Subsequently, she moved to the business sector, specialising in translating marketing and IT-related texts. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, she fled Mariupol with her family and sought refuge in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine programme. As well as working for BEARR, she will continue to work as a freelance translator, collaborating with European and UK-based organisations.
