Russian NGOs offer free guide on working with orphanage children

This guide contains advice on employment issues, creating a family and resolving every-day problems.
It is mainly aimed at those who are still at or have left State orphanages and children who have been left without parental care. According to its authors, the guide will also be of interest to education and social protection workers.
An electronic version of the guide can be seen on the “Social Opportunities Map” website (https://socialstairs.ru/information/guide). It can be obtained free of charge from the offices of the Centre of Youth and Entrepreneurial Initiatives “Generation 2025” (Moscow, Nikolyamskaya Ulitsa, Apartment 11, Room 1).
Orders can also be made by e-mail to info@socialstairs.ru or by ‘phone: 8-804-333-19-33 giving the name of the organisation, contact person details, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone number, and the number of copies required. Each organisation will be limited to five copies.
The guide has been published with the support of the “Perspektiva” charity.
The “Social Opportunities Map” is a federal project targeted at orphanage pupils and graduates, created and developed by “Generation 2025” and the “We need one another” charity.
