Representatives from Georgia’s parliamentary opposition are demanding that the law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” be repealed as it does not comply with Articles 22 and 78 of the Constitution.
There are reports that 32 deputies will sign the law suit. However, the Girchi party is not involved in the legal action as it does not believe in the independence of the Constitutional Court.
The “Russian law” is also being challenged in the Court by the Georgian President and 21 media and civil society organisations.
