A draft Order “On the Approval of the Bishkek Budget for 2025 and the Planning Period for 2026-2027” has been posted on the Bishkek City Kenesh (Supreme Council) website.
The document sets out the daily food allocations that will be paid from the local budget as follows:
- 120 soms for children with physical and mental developmental disorders in pre-school educational establishments, as well as for groups of children staying round-the-clock;
- 150 soms for children in kindergartens with tuberculosis;
- 22 soms for orphans and children from low-income families in general educational facilities and pupils in grades 5-7;
- 22 soms for children in grades 1-4 in general educational institutions;
- 36 soms for pupils with physical and mental developmental problems in general educational establishments;
- 220 soms for disadvantaged children in the Aknyet centre; for those in the Aydanek juvenile reintegration centre; residential groups in boarding secondary school no.71 (for children with physical and mental disabilities) in the Oktyabrsky district and boarding secondary school no.1;
- 120 soms for those in the Ayar Rehabilitation Centre for People with Disabilities.
In addition, the following daily food allocations have been set:
- 120 soms for hot meals for bed-ridden patients;
- 200 soms for those in the Ardager municipal gerontology centre;
- 200 soms for women and children in the Ayalzat municipal facility who have been victims of domestic violence;
- 70 soms for people of no fixed abode;
- 44 soms for children from low-income families in school camps.
