New online social service for people with disabilities

The online portal can be used to apply for technical equipment and services for rehabilitation.
An application can be submitted online to:
- receive, exchange or repair technical equipment for rehabilitation, or offset the cost of these expenses;
- receive sign language interpreting and deaf-blind interpreting, or reimbursement for this;
- receive reimbursement for expenses on travelling to receive technical equipment for rehabilitation.
Planning is underway to expand the services in September — an electronic certificate will allow the user to access technical equipment for rehabilitation from Social Services. When processing the application for technical equipment the user will be able to choose the corresponding option.
