From Group Therapy to Community Cohesion

In July 2023 BEARR launched its new programme in Ukraine – “From Group Therapy to Community Cohesion”, funded by the British Government through the British Embassy in Kyiv.

The first step was to send small grants to seven partner organisations in Ukraine in response to their suggested methods of coping with the psychological stresses of the war.

In October 2023, members of the various organisations gathered together for a workshop held in a remote hostel in the Carpathian mountains.

The project is winding up in early 2024, and The BEARR Trust is looking into ways of continuing or broadening its very successful work.
