As we approach the colder months, we continue to provide support to our partners around Ukraine and give you the latest update on our emergency Appeal.
We are delighted to present the Annual Review of our work in 2023 as well as invite you to register for our Annual Lecture given by Professor Sir Lawrence Freedman on 23 October and the Annual Conference on 29 November.
We welcome our new Translator and Website Assistant Oksana Yurchenko.
This autumn edition also features a book review of Andrey Kurkov’s Our Daily War, articles on dementia care in the post-Soviet region and mental health of Ukrainian teenagers in war as well as the usual news from the region.
