Rent-free properties for disability organisations

 

 

79 properties are to be handed over to
Moscow organisations for disabled people

 

At
a session of the city government held on 28 May, the mayor of Moscow, Sergei
Sobyanin announced that the organisations will not have to pay rent for the
properties.

 

The
mayor stated that communal organisations had previously applied to the city for
the rents to be lowered. Now they would not have to pay for the leased
properties on condition that they were used for the designated purpose. The
non-residential properties would be handed over for use rent free for a period
of five years.

 

Deputy
mayor, Natalya Sergunina, who deals with property matters, said that the 79
properties would be handed over rent free and the leases for another 17 would
continue.
