ASI Director receives government award
ASI director Elena Topoleva receives Russian Government
Media Award for 2019

Elena Topoleva, Director of the Agency for Social
Information, has received an award for her coverage and analysis of civil
society structures and her contribution to the development of philanthropy in
Russia.
The decision to publicly recognise her work was
made by the Russian government on the basis of proposals submitted by the
Council for Government Media Awards. The prize celebrates individuals who have
distinguished themselves creatively and professionally, and also awards media
outlets.
On 26 December 2019, the government announced 10 media awards, each to the value of 1 million roubles.
Elena Topoleva received an expression of thanks from
the President for organising and convening Year of the Volunteer in the Russia
Federation.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin also awarded the Order of Honour to Igor Chestin, director
of the World Wide Fund for Nature.
