Competition to obtain sponsorship for best support projects for foster families
Amway’s charitable foundation, Taking Responsibility for the Future, which aims to provide social assistance together with CAF, the fund for the support and development of philanthropy, announced the competition which forms part of a charitable programme, Loving the Children.
Aim of programme: Avoidance of secondary deprivation of parental care; harmonisation of parent-child relationships in and development of support services for foster families.
This is a national competition.
The amount of sponsorship is 20 million roubles.
Aim of the competition: provision of financial support to the best NGO projects (whether state, municipal or community based) aimed at providing support services for foster families.
Target group of projects: foster families with children aged from 0 to 18
Project activities to be directed to performance of the following tasks:
– enhancing parental skills
– bolstering parents’ psychological resources
– facilitating parent-child relationships
– surmounting family crises situations
– organising help for parents to deal with child development problems.
The closing date for receipt of applications for sponsorship by CAF is 20 April 2014.
The results of the competition are to be announced by 1 June 2014.
