Dance4life-Russia Project: Young people are particularly vulnerable to HIV

Protect
young people from the danger of infection from human immunodeficiency virus
(HIV) that leads to AIDS; that is the call from participants of the Dance4life
project in Russia.

They have
released a statement in which they stress the need to educate young Russians
about HIV transmission and methods of protection. “HIV infection is
spreading in silence!” the document announces. Every day in Russia there
are nearly 180 new cases of HIV. More than 40% are sexually transmitted, and
the epidemic has affected all groups
