The application period
for the Russian NGOs’ annual accounts competition, ‘Tochka Otscheta’ has been
extended

The competition is being run on the initiative of the
‘Social Commission of the Russian Federation’s Chamber for the Development of
Charity Work and Volunteering’ in partnership with the Ministry of Economic
Development and the Ministry of Justice. The Donors Forum (Moscow), the Centre
for the development of NGOs (St Petersburg) and the Agency for Social Information
(Moscow) are supporting the competition. NGOs will not only present a detailed
account of their activities to a council of experts, but also vote for
standards of transparency in the tertiary sector.

Each participating NGO will receive a certificate of compliance confirming it presented its annual
report to a wide range of stakeholders, and that it met the required standard.
In addition to this, all participants will receive an email with the individual
score awarded for their accounting. This will include the score given by the
jury for each marking criterion. Applications are accepted until 30^th
