Forum of philanthropists and patrons

The New Wave, Moscow, 1 March 2022

The event, organised by Forbes Congress Russia, will bring together representatives of the non-profit sector with government figures and businesses.

The title of the event, The New Wave, refers to the new strain of COVID-19 that swept through Russia this winter. Central to the forum is a consideration of how this new wave of coronavirus has affected CSOs. What losses have the non-profit sector encountered and what help is now needed? Or, alternatively, has the sector managed to cope?

At the same time, ‘The New Wave’ also hints at a generational change in the sector. New people are emerging in the field, and charitable foundations are bringing in new assistance programmes. While in the 15th century there were The Seven Acts of Mercy, today we can count more than fifty. The forum is a place to consider whether these new organisations need any assistance. Questions looking to be answered include, are they creative? Are they religious? What has led them to working in the non-profit sector? Is this a long-term initiative or is it a springboard for a career elsewhere?

You can find out more about the event and terms of participation on the Forum website.

To participate in the forum, you need to purchase a ticket. Discounted tickets are available for charitable foundations. If you have any questions, please contact Forbes Congress Russia by e-mail:
