Social Organisations invites NGOs to a free study course
The House of Moscow’s Social
Organisations (a networking centre for social organisations) invites
representatives of these organisations and other NGOs registered in the Moscow
area to take part in free courses. These courses, ‘The School of the Active NGO’
will cover the management of state, commercial and non-commercial
organisations.
The curriculum of the autumn term will run as follows:
‘Management and Legal Aspects of NGO Activity’, ‘Economic Aspects of NGO
Activity’, ‘Social Partnerships and Cooperation between the Social Sector and
the Authorities’, ‘Project Management’, ‘PR Management in NGOs’, ‘Marketing in
NGOs’, ‘The Management of Volunteers’, ‘Modern NGO Leadership’, ‘Social and
Psychological Aspects of Successful NGO Activity’, ‘Public Speaking Masterclass’
and ‘The Basics of Social Entrepreneurship.’
The programme will offer classes with leading
specialists in the fields of law, sociology, economics and journalism.
Additionally, it will provide training for technological cooperation with
government agencies and local authorities. It will also offer the chance for
direct communication with the management of Moscow City’s Commission for Social
Connections, in the form of a concluding roundtable discussion.
Each course will be 24 academic hours. In one semester
a maximum of three courses may be attended. The autumn semester runs from
October to December. On the completion of study, a certificate of higher
education is issued.
The courses will be held at Apartment 26, 2, Sibirskii
Prospekt, (Nearest metro: Volgogradskii Prospekt)
