On 10 October, the MEGOGO video service launched its Multik app, comprising 20 children’s TV channels and a variety of cartoons and animations.

Cartoons produced by Russian and international studios as well as classics from the Soviet era are to be made available to children with special needs and will include sign language interpretation.

“This is Russia’s first children’s app that contains animations with audio tracks and sign language interpretation for special needs children. We have also added cartoons with an English soundtrack for those who are studying the language”, said Viktor Chekanov, CEO of MEGOGO (Russia).

According to MEGOGO, the number of animated films that can be viewed for free and without advertising is increased with this app.  IoS users will be able to download any cartoon and watch it offline.
