Lawsuit filed for liquidation of Moscow Helsinki Group
The Ministry of Justice filed a lawsuit on the liquidation of the Moscow Helsinki Group
The liquidation is going to be carried out on the basis of an unscheduled inspection carried out at the request of the prosecutor’s office.

The case appeared on the website of the Moscow City Court. When the hearing will take place is still unknown.
“They filed a lawsuit for its (Moscow Helsinki Group’s) liquidation, on the formal basis that it is regional, but participated in events in other regions,” said Eva Merkacheva, a member of the Human Rights Council.
