Non-profit organisations make over 11,000 bids for Presidential Grants
Non-profit organisations submitted over 11,000 projects to the Presidential Grants Foundation contest
The application period for the second 2023 competition ended on 15 March.

The Presidential Grants Foundation reported that 9,896 CSOs from 88 regions applied to the competition.
The most popular application category was the protection of health and promotion of healthy lifestyles — 19.8% of all proposals were in this sector. Projects for social services, support, and protection amounted to 15.3%, as did projects in science, education, and research. Most CSOs requested grants of up to 1 million roubles (50.2%), and 43% requested 1 to 5 million roubles.
The winners will be announced in June.
