Record number of applicants for 2021 Presidential Grants
The Presidential Grants Fund receives a record number of applications for its second contest of 2021

12,255 applications from CSOs have been received for the Fund’s second competition of 2021, beating the previous record of 11,085 set for the second contest last year.
Most applications submitted by CSOs were in the following categories: health care and promoting healthy lifestyles (2,336 projects), support for culture and the arts (1,604) and social services and protection of citizens (1,518).
8% of CSOs were first-time applicants. The results will be announced in June, with funding for successful projects starting from 1 July. The total prize fund will be in excess of four billion roubles.
