Russian Entrepreneurship prize. Deadline 1 July
The Impulse of Kindness award is now accepting applications
The Russian Impulse of Kindness prize is awarded for contribution to the development and promotion of social entrepreneurship within Russia.
Applications are being accepted until July 1, 2021. This year’s prize money is 2,480,000 roubles. Applications are accepted online via the link.
The annual prize was established by the charity for Regional Social Programmes, Our Future, and is awarded to social entrepreneurs, representatives of public organisations, government agencies and specialised departments as well as the media and educational institutions.
The categories for the 2021 award are:
- Personal contribution to the development of social entrepreneurship.
- Systematic approach to social entrepreneurship.
- Best corporate programme for the development of social entrepreneurship.
- Best regional programme.
- Best coverage of social entrepreneurship on social media.
- Best Russian educational programme in the field of social entrepreneurship.
- Best impact project.
Winners are decided by a public board from the charity Our Future, which includes public figures, heads of state and public organisations and representatives from executive and legislative authorities. The board is chaired by Vagit Alekperov, the founder of Our Future.
2021 marks the tenth year of the award. In previous years, 1,843 applications from over 80 regions of Russia were submitted. 89 different people won prizes.
Former winners include Artists of the Russian Federation Sergey Bezrukov and Konstantin Khabensky, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Olga Epifanova, social entrepreneurs Roman Aranin and Anton Kuchumov, Channel One and TASS.
This year the award ceremony will take place on October 7 at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow.
