Ministry updates list of undesirable organisations
Four German organisations added to register

On 1 March 2024, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation updated its register of foreign and international non-governmental organisations whose activities are deemed ‘undesirable’ in Russia to include four German organisations.
Amongst the organisations on the list are the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the German Association for East European Studies, XZ Foundation and the Mobile Academy for Gender Democracy and Peacebuilding.
