Russian survey shows what people consider most noble professions
Voluntary work in a list of top ten noble professions for 2021

In a general survey organised by Superjob, Russians highlighted those professions they considered to be the most noble and selfless.
The research involved 1,600 respondents from all over Russia. One in four believed the work of medical professionals to be the most noble these days; 3% suggested emergency workers and firefighters, and 2% military service men and women and volunteers. Cleaners received 2% of the votes.
Among other noble professions, Russians named pilots, librarians, human rights activists, dog handlers, truck drivers, security guards, shopkeepers, priests and social workers (20%).
Eight percent of Russians believe there are noble, ethical and dedicated people in every profession.
